You don’t need me like I need you
I constantly think of you
I don’t understand how I can feel this way about you,
It feels so right, yet feels so wrong.
Forbidden love, love untold
This love could never be
You glance at me and my heart fills with elation
You frown and I feel sad
You smile and I feel like a million weights had been lifted
From my heavy life.
As you look at me, I wonder if you could ever feel the same
Sometimes it feels as if you do,
But I can’t know for sure
So I can’t do anything about this feeling,
This feeling inside my aching heart.
